Hans Fecht is Chair Professor(em) in the faculty of engineering science, computer science and psychology at Ulm University, Germany and the Director (em) of the Institute of Functional Nanosystems. He is also the office director for Cluster Metallurgy Europe, an international non- profit organization, since 2015. Prof. Dr. Fecht has published over 500 scientific papers. He has served as the European editor for the Journal of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, and the regional editor for the American Journal of Nanotechnology, and as the associate editor for the International Journal of Theoretical and Applied Nanotechnology. An elected fellow and member of the Max Kade Gesellschaft in New York, Dr. Fecht is also a Member of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts. In 1998, he was awarded a G.W. Leibniz Award from the German ResearchFoundation.

Guoqian Chen is currently working as Professor at Department of Mechanics, Peking University, Beijing, China, and Distinguished Professor in Department of Mathematics, King Abudulaziz University, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. He obtained his PhD in Applied Mathematics and Fluid Mechanics from same University in 1989. In past he worked as Assistant Professor/Associate Professor at Institute of Mechanics, Chinese Academic of Science, Beijing, China, Associate Professor/Professor at Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Beijing, China, Visiting Professor at University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, United States, and Hong Kong University, Hong Kong, China. Dr. Guoqian Chen received number of honors includes Thomson Reuters Highly Cited Researchers Award, Thomson Reuters China Citation Laureates, ISI Highly Cited Researcher 2013, National Award for Science and Technology Progress, Ministry of Education Award for Science and Technology Progress, Elsevier Award for Most-Cited Economics Journal Paper, Hok Ying-Tong Education Foundation Award for Outstanding Young Teachers, Ministry of Education Award for Trans-Century Excellent Talents in Universities, and Zhou Pei-Yuan Outstanding Paper Award in Hydrodynamics (1st Prize). Prof. Karol Kyzioł is a distinguished Professor at AGH University of Science and Technology in the field of Materials Engineering. He currently serves as the Head of the Department of Physical Chemistry and Modelling, as well as the Head of the Laboratory of Vapour Deposited Materials.
His academic accomplishments include the publication of 128 scientific articles, with 39 indexed in the Journal Citation Reports (38 of which were published post-Ph.D.), accumulating a total impact factor of approximately 115. Prof. Kyzioł is also the author of the monograph Functional Coatings Deposited in Plasma Chemical Conditions and a co-author of two book chapters: Handbook of Composite from Renewable Materials, Vol. 4: Functionalization (2017, Wiley-Scrivener), and Surface Functionalization with Biopolymers via Plasma-Assisted Surface Grafting and Plasma-Induced Graft Polymerization – Materials for Biomedical Application, in the volume Biopolymer Grafting: Applications (2018, Elsevier).
He has presented the results of his research at 50 scientific conferences, including 39 international events. In addition, he holds two patents: PL 221932 B1 (2016), which describes a method for improving the mechanical properties of aluminum alloys, and PL 236571 B1 (2021), concerning a plasma chemical method for modifying overlays for bumpers.
Prof. Kyzioł's research has earned several prestigious awards from the Rector of AGH UST (2013, 2014, 2016, 2022). His collaborative work on aluminum treatment with the Technical University of Łódź (TUL) has received international recognition, including a gold medal at the INTEX international exhibition in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia, 2012), as well as gold and bronze medals at exhibitions in Seoul (Korea, 2012) and Cluj-Napoca (Romania, 2013), respectively.
Claudia Alejandra Aguilar earned her Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí, Mexico. For over 23 years, she has served as a research professor at the Universidad Autónoma del Carmen (UNACAR), where she has built a distinguished academic and scientific career. She currently leads the Consolidated Academic Body of Chemical Sciences and is a member of the Basic Academic Core of the Master’s Program in Environmental Sciences, a program recognized by the Secretariat of Science, Humanities, and Technology.
Dr. Aguilar is a member of the National System of Researchers (SNII) and actively contributes to the training of undergraduate and graduate students. Her teaching experience is complemented by academic management, having served as Coordinator of the Master’s Program in Environmental Sciences and as technical lead for externally funded projects in Basic and Frontier Science.She has authored more than 50 scientific publications and her work has received over 1,000 citations (ORCID). In the field of mentorship and gender equity, she has participated as a mentor in the “Becalas” program, in the “Mentora por la Ciencia” program of the Consejo Potosino de Ciencia y Tecnología, and is a member of the STEM Network at UNACAR. Additionally, she holds accreditation from the “British Council” to strengthen the capacities of women in engineering and STEM fields.
Dr. Mohan Reddy Moola is an Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering at Curtin University Malaysia. He holds a Ph.D. from Curtin University and an M.Tech from IIT Kharagpur. With over 25 years of experience in teaching, research, and supervision, he specializes in machining and materials engineering. His research interests include machining of advanced materials and ceramics, sustainable green manufacturing, and robotic applications. He has led and contributed to multiple nationally funded research projects. Dr. Moola has published more than 50 papers in reputable international journals and conference proceedings, and he also serves as an editorial board member, guest editor and reviewer for several academic journals.

Dr. Nasimuddin (M’2003–SM’2009) received his M.Tech. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Delhi in 1998 and 2004, respectively. He was a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Delhi from 1999 to 2003 and subsequently held the position of Australian Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Macquarie University, Sydney, from 2004 to 2006. He is currently a Principal Scientist at the Institute for Infocomm Research (I²R), A*STAR, Singapore. Dr. Nasimuddin is a prolific contributor to the field, with over 260 research publications, four granted patents, and four additional patents filed. He has edited three books, including two book chapters. His outstanding work has earned him recognition as one of the Stanford's Top 2% of scientists in 2023 2024, and 2025.
He is a Senior Member of the IEEE and its APS, GRSS, and MTTS, as well as a Life Fellow of the WAMS Society. His accolades include the URSI Young Scientist Award (2005) and multiple IEEE AP-T/APPL Exceptional Performance Reviewer Awards. He serves as an Associate Editor for the IEEE Open Journal of Antennas and Propagation (OJAP), Editor-in-Chief of Wireless and Communication Letters and is a member of the editorial boards of several leading journals in antennas and propagation. He also served as Chair of the IEEE Singapore MTT/AP Joint Chapter from 2021 to 2022.
